PI-ATAWI began with Douglas Gladue. In 1995 he opened the PI-ATAWI gas and confectionery store in Atikameg, Alberta — Pî-Atâwî is Cree for “Come buy” — and ran it the way he lived: helping people first, and letting the business follow.

The company’s growth into PI-ATAWI Investment Enterprise is the plan father and son made together before Douglas passed on. His standard of helping people still guides everything PI-ATAWI builds — including the assistant in our software that carries his name.

Troy carries his father’s legacy forward. A full-stack software developer with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Yorkville University, he designs and builds PI-ATAWI’s products end to end — from the first line of code to launch.

Based in Conklin, Alberta, Troy leads every partnership personally. His approach is the one he learned from his dad: be straight with people, deliver what you promise, and build relationships that outlast any single deal.
